How to Enable Cookies
What are cookies, and why are you requiring me to enable them before I can login / register?
Cookies are very small text files that we use to store a series of characters known as a "session id" on your hard drive. Your web browser passes that id to us each time you request a page. We can use that session id to identify you throughout your session. Otherwise, our web server would "forget" who you are each time you requested a page -- even if you had logged in.
Talkr (tm) uses what are called "session" cookies -- they are only stored for the duration of your web browsing session. Unlike "permanent" cookies, our session cookies are erased once you close your web browser.
If you have other questions about what we do with data that we collect from you, please see our privacy policy.
